Senior ReactJS Frontend Developer - Search Engine (f/m/d) for fastest growing travel tech company

Your future crew

You will join the frontend team as part of the search department. Together with your team you will own the product development and infrastructure for delivering a high-performance website with an exceptional user and developer experience.

Our Tech Stack

• We are writing the frontend of our Search Engine in ReactJS, running on a cluster of node.js servers in Kubernetes. We are using Redux, type checking with Flow, and Express on the server.
• The backend of our Search Engine we are writing with a microservice approach, using Java 11, with Spring Boot, running on Kubernetes
• Data storage with Elasticsearch 7, PostgreSQL, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis
• Heavy usage of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git
• Native iOS and Android Apps written with Swift and Kotlin
• Monitoring with ELK, Grafana and internally developed technologies

Your role in this journey

• You will be part of the team who is responsible for our website and all related technologies
• You will develop new features that will be used by millions of users
• You will have the freedom and ownership to implement your own ideas on how to improve and develop our products further
• You will build, with your team, highly scalable applications with state of the art technologies
• You will work in a squad based organization alongside other Frontend Developers, Backend Developers, Designers and Product Managers. Together you are responsible for delivering the best possible product that offers a world-class UX.

Your backpack is filled with

• A degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent practical experience
• Professional experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS
• You have worked or you have a strong motivation to work with ReactJS, Redux, Flow, Express, AWS, Microservices, Kubernetes, and the rest of our tech stack
• Experience with CRUD, Rest services and how to create logical APIs and services
• The drive and ambition to take ownership of a fast web application, with a great user and developer experience
• Experience developing, and a passion for user-facing software
• You love coding and building world class products! We do and we hope you share our ambition!
