Senior Android Developer (m/f)

To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer (m/f). In this position, you will be responsible for the development and design of our Android app for smartphones and tablets. Your responsibilities will be:

Developing a feature-rich app to offer a great experience to Android phones and tablets
Working closely with our product and design teams to customize the experience for the Android platform
Implementing and testing new features in close collaboration with our UI Designer
Contributing to the performance and reliability of our Android app running in 15 countries
Bringing in your advanced coding skills and creative ideas every day

You come with:

3+ years building complex Android applications, experience with Java, Android SDK and IntelliJ Android Studio
Some great apps published in the Google Play
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle including architecture-centered thinking, coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience with RESTful APIs (JSON) and 3rd party libraries integration, source code management via git
Knowledge of user-centered design principles coupled with a “don’t make me think” understanding of usability as well as experience with developing against multiple devices and screen sizes
Fluency in English, other languages would be an asset
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
