(Junior) Golang Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Home & Living is a complex market with unique challenges along the global value chain, which we are solving with scalable, technology-driven solutions. Our Internal Tooling team develops data-driven services that enable us to improve and automate our processes.

Our initial two products are our own developed pricing software and a customer service solution, which were designed to have a high impact on the business from day one. This is how we want to continue to work and why we are looking for an independent problem solver with a high level of technical curiosity. We seek someone who is passionate about solving business problems by providing simple and elegant technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist senior developers with all aspects of software design and coding.
• Learn the codebase and improve your coding skills.
• Work on bug fixes and implementing new features.
• Monitor the technical performance of internal systems.

Your Profile

• You have basic programming experience (preferably Golang).
• You understand why one should write unit tests.
• You have basic knowledge of operating systems, databases and how HTTP works.
• You are a fast learner, passionate about emerging technologies, and are able to adapt easily to a rapid pace.
• Work in a team environment comes naturally to you.
• You hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, also natural sciences possible.
