Junior Fullstack/Backend Developer

Our startup evoach is developing the first smart and fully digitalized web-based application for business coaching. We are currently looking for a Junior Fullstack Developer with focus on backend development to support our development team:

TASKS

• Independently develop and integrate new coaching modules into the app.
• Further system architecture development with new features, including the introduction of web sockets, integration of AI frameworks, and other external services.
• Refactoring, bug-fixing, and other general software development.
• Improving the webpack-based build process.
• Working closely with your interdisciplinary product development team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JS/Typescript. You should be able to read, understand and write JS/Typescript code and understand web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of algorithms and data structures, including a solid understanding how a website works and how client and server communicate. Experience using Webpack is a strong plus.
• Experience with the Linux terminal. The chatbot will be powered by a NodeJS server running in a Debian environment. Any experience with Linux environments is welcome but experience with a Debian-based system is preferred. If you have any Linux system installed as your main operating system, you are probably the one we are looking for.
• Knowledge of script writing for testing or automating a task would be a plus, but is not a must. If you can already script, Python would be perfect!
