Java Full Stack Developer - Data Application (f/m/d) for fastest growing travel tech company

Your future crew

You will be part of the business intelligence department in the data engineering team. Together with your team you are responsible for our data platform, consisting of the data pipelines and a host of other internal tools.

Our Tech Stack

• We are writing our applications with a microservice approach, using Java, with Spring Boot, running on Kubernetes
• Data storage with Redshift, Elasticsearch, Kafka, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis
• Internal applications written with ReactJS
• Heavy usage of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git
• Monitoring with ELK, Grafana, and internally developed technologies

Your role in this journey

• You will be part of the Data Engineering team which is fully responsible for our internal applications based on output from the data pipelines.
• You will use state of the art technologies to build new tools and develop further existing ones. You will be part of creating and managing highly scalable applications and data pipelines.
• Your team is empowering other teams in the company, for instance helping the search team improve the search engine or providing valuable insight to the marketing team to better the performance of our marketing engine and, of course, also guiding business decision-makers to propel business success.

Your backpack is filled with

• A degree in Computer Science, or a related field with multiple years of professional development experience after or during your studies.
• Professional experience as Full Stack Java developer. Ideally, you have also worked or you have the strong motivation to work with AWS, ReactJS or Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, Microservices, ElasticSearch, Redshift, Kubernetes, and the rest of our tech stack.
• You love coding and building world-class products! We do and we hope you share our ambition!
